Finidi Explains Why Iheanacho Should Consider Leaving Sevilla

Former Super Eagles winger Finidi George has shared his thoughts on why Kelechi Iheanacho should consider leaving Sevilla, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Iheanacho made the move to the Spanish club last summer from Leicester City but has struggled to secure a regular spot in the team and find his rhythm in La Liga, despite showing promise in the Copa Del Rey.

The Rivers United coach believes the Spanish side hasn't given Iheanacho enough time to adjust.

"I believe they have not treated him fairly," Finidi told Africa Foot.

"They had high expectations when he arrived, but it’s still early, and he hasn’t had enough time to settle in. If any good offers come his way, I think he should leave."

Finidi continued, "At 28, he still has a lot to offer, but he needs to be in a place where he is truly valued. A return to England could be a great opportunity, or he could also consider exploring options in new environments."
