Finidi Refuses To Reveal Salary As Super Eagles Coach

By Precious Oham

Finidi George has refused to reveal the salary he is expected to earn as Head Coach of the Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, unveiled the former winger, as reports emerged that he was set to earn between N15 million naira to N66 million naira in charge of the team.

However, the new Super Eagles boss, during a media tour in Lagos, downplayed the report of the payment and insisted he is not concerned about the financial details for now.

"If I am asking for money and I have not done the job, for me that is not vital. Let me do the job first, and then we will see what happens later. I have my monthly salary, which I think is good enough for me. I am not complaining, we will just leave it at that."

The 53 years old first target is to ensure they qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as he would be working along side Daniel Amokachi as his Assistant Coach.
