Fiorentina Tables Bid For Nigerian Goal-Machine And UEFA Conference League Top Scorer

According to report coming from Italy, Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers is likely to ply his trade in the Serie A next season, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Dessers spent last season on loan with the Dutch Eredivisie club Feyenoord and was instrumental to the team playing in the final of the inaugural UEFA Conference League.

He emerged top of the Conference League with 10 goals, and bagged same number of goals for the club in the domestic league.

Feyenoord intended to sign him permanently from his parent club Genk of Belgium but disagreement on personal terms stalled the move.

Report in Italy suggests that Fiorentina has tabled an offer for the Nigerian forward after they noticed him to be a potential replacement for Dusan Vlahovic who joined Juventus during the winter transfer window.

If the deal materialise, Dessers will be joining Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as another Nigerian forward in the Serie A.
