First Rangers Goal Thrills Dessers

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Cyril Dessers has expressed his excitement after scoring his opening goal for the Scottish giants, Glasgow Rangers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dessers joined the Gers this summer from the relegated Italian Serie A side US Cremonese and was able to make his competitive debut last weekend.

His debut last Saturday ended on a sour note as they suffered a defeat on the opening day of the season to Kilmarnock.

Rangers returned to the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night as they played host to Servette of Switzerland in the qualifying round.

After much effort, they were able to secure a narrow 2-1 win with the Nigeria international scoring the opening.

He reacted to the goal and hope to get more for the club.

Rangers are hoping to secure a place in the group stage of the competition for the first time in recent years.
