Flamingo’s coach, Felipe Luis, has recognized Nigerian midfielder Onuche Ogbelu as a key player for Esperance, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Brazilian side is set to face the Tunisian champions in the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

During a press conference, the former Chelsea defender singled out Ogbelu as a player to watch in the match.

“Ogbelu is a very important player for Esperance,” Felipe Luis said.

The Tunisian champions rewarded Ogbelu’s impressive form last season with a contract extension just before the start of the competition.
