Flamingos Send Strong Warning To Benin Republic with 15-0 Demolition

The Nigeria U17 Women's national team, the Flamingos delivered a ruthless attacking performance as they overwhelmed Future Stars '99 Soccer Academy 15-0 in a preparatory fixture, sending a strong message ahead of next week's encounter with Benin Republic, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The dominant victory showcased the attacking depth and clinical finishing of the Nigerian U-17 women's national team as seven different players found the back of the net in an emphatic display.

Kindness Ifeanyi led the scoring with a first-half hat-trick, striking in the 8th, 10th and 29th minutes to put the Flamingos firmly in control. Tosin Rafiu added a brace with goals in the 13th and 19th minutes, while Queen Joseph and Esther Stephen also got on the scoresheet before the interval.

Oluwakemi Adegbuyi converted from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time to make it 8-0 at the break.

The Flamingos maintained their intensity after the restart, with Oluebube Umejiaku scoring twice in the 60th and 65th minutes. Destiny Itobore added another three minutes later before Precious Oscar struck twice late in the contest.

Substitute Tobiloba Sarafa completed the rout with two stoppage-time goals, capping a dominant team performance that underlined the squad's attacking quality and sharpness.

The comprehensive victory provides another confidence boost for the Flamingos as they continue preparations for their upcoming fixture against Benin Republic on 4 July. The coaching crew will be encouraged not only by the team's prolific finishing but also by the spread of goals across the squad, highlighting the attacking options available ahead of the important encounter.
