Flamingos To Resume Camping This Week

The Nigeria women's U17 national team, Flamingos will commence their preparations ahead of their participation at the 2024 FIFA U17 women's world cup finals, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
This was revealed by the top Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) official in a chat with www.bsnsports.com.ng on Sunday.
"Flamingos will resume camping in Abuja this week after Falconets must have departed for Colombia. They need to start preparations now to give the coach the ample time to put the team in perfect shape ahead of their world cup finals in October." He said.
The 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup will be the 8th edition of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, the biennial international women's youth football championship contested by the under-17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It will be hosted by the Dominican Republic, the first FIFA tournament hosted by the country. This will be the final edition to feature 16 teams before expanding to 24 teams in 2025. It will also be the final edition to be held biannually.
Nigeria are in Group A with the host, Dominican Republic, New Zealand and Ecuador. Flamingos will kickstart their campaign against New Zealand on October 16 at 7:00pm before taking on Ecuador three days later. Nigeria will take on hosts, Dominican Republic in their last group game on 22nd October, 2024.
