Flying Eagles Coach Joins Egyptian Side Telecom SC

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles head coach, Aliyu Zubair, has officially joined Egyptian second division outfit Telecom Egypt SC as their new head coach, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Zubair, who previously guided El Kanemi Warriors to the Federation Cup final, has steadily built a reputation as one of the most tactically astute young managers in Nigerian football.

His success with the Flying Eagles, where he developed several promising talents, caught the attention of the Egyptian club.

According to reports, the 45-year-old tactician will be tasked with leading Telecom SC’s push for promotion to the Egyptian Premier League.

Zubair’s move marks another milestone in the growing recognition of Nigerian coaches on the African continent, following in the footsteps of several compatriots who have taken up managerial roles abroad.
