Flying Eagles Defeat Cosmos FC In Friendly Match

The Flying Eagles defeated Cosmos FC 4-2 in their first friendly game ahead of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Niamey, Niger Republic.


Ahmed Abdullahi, Aminu Mohammed, Adams Yakubu and Aliyu Abdullahi were on target for the Flying Eagles in the game.


Ladan Bosso’s side put up a solid performance in the game despite opening camp in Abuja on Monday.


Bosso’s charges will take on FC Basira in their next test game on Sunday.


More test games have been lined up for the team ahead of the qualifiers.


The Flying Eagles are in Group B along with the Black Satellites of Ghana and Young Stallions of Burkina Faso. They will open their campaign against Ghana on May 9 and then face Burkina Faso three days later.
