Flying Eagles Foreign Based Pros Given mid-January Deadline Resumption Date

Any foreign based player that will join the Flying Eagles in their campaign for the 2023 African Nations Cup in Egypt must arrive in Abuja not later than next week.

This, according to Futbalgalore.com is to allow the invited foreign based players blend very well with the already assembled U20 players by coach Ladan Bosso.

Coach Bosso is committed to ensuring that Nigeria presents a solid team for the 2023 TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The U-20 AFCON will be played in Egypt between February 19 and March 11 with the top four teams qualifying for the U-20 World Cup in Indonesia in May.

The Flying Eagles are drawn in Group A along with hosts Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique.

The Flying Eagles open their campaign with an opening game against Senegal on February 19 in Cairo.
