Flying Eagles Pick Victory In Last Friendly In Abuja

By Admin

The Flying Eagles on Saturday beat Legacy Football Academy in what seemed like the last warm up game in Abuja.

The test game was played inside the mainbowl of the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

This is expected to be their last game in Abuja before they change training camps to Ikenne.

The understrength U20s scored in both halves against a Legacy Academy team who were physically intimidating.

The U20s under coach Aliyu Zubairu will face Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso in the first round of the sub-regional qualifiers later this month in Togo.

The competition kicks off October 17 in Lome, Togo.
