Flying Eagles Sarki Signs For Al Ain

Nigeria U20 star, Haliru Sarki has signed a long-term deal with the most successful club in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Al Ain, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Sarki dazzled at the just-concluded FIFA Under 20 World Cup as he scored Nigeria's second goal in the 2-0 Round of 16 win over hosts, Argentina.

Abuja-based football academy Mahanaim in a statement on Sunday read- "We have reached an agreement with a top Asian club side, Al Ain for the transfer of our player and Nigeria U20 forward, Haliru Sarki.

"The deal is a long-term project, we are wishing Sarki and his new club success in the coming season."

Al Ain has 14 UAE Pro League titles, 7 President Cups, and 5 Super Cups.
