By Niyi Busari

Head Coach of Nigeria U20 team, Ladan Bosso has said that the Flying Eagles will play three friendly matches with three different Nigeria Professional Football League teams as part of the preparation ahead of the 2022 West African Football Union (WAFU B) competition to be hosted by Niger Republic, BSNSports com.ng can report.

Though, he didnt mention the three teams, however, he was sure that the matches would be played this weekend to further assess the qualities of the players to be selected for the championship.

"We would have preffered playing international friendlies but time is not on our side. What we are going to get playing the international friendly matches, we can get it at home. We will play three Premier League in Nigeria. This is as good as playing international friendly matches. We have already played one game and will play at least three before the weekend."

He however frowned at the decision of some players taking excuses to leave the Camp and play league matches for their respective teams.

"I will have to explain to the Federation (NFF) to give directive to disallow NPFL players to play league matches for their respective teams because we dont have time and that could lead to distraction.

He insisted that he is not under pressure from agents adding that his integrity, the NFF and Nigeria interest will shape his decision making in final squad.

"This is the easiest job, when you want to take your decision as a Coach, at that time, think of your integrity, think of the interest of the Federation and Nigeria at large." He concluded
