Flying Eagles Win Big In First Friendly Game In Ikenne

Flying Eagles defeated Seamorrow FC 4-1 in a warm up game on Wednesday morning at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Nigeria U20 striker, Kparobo bagged a brace while Ayooma and Kenneth Igbokwe scored one goal each from the penalty spot. 

The Coach Aliyu Zubairu led side continue their preparation outside Abuja where they resumed camping for the WAFU B U20 Championship few weeks ago. 

The team train two times daily and look forward to having more warm up games before their departure for the 2024 U20 regional tournament which also serves as CAF U20 African Nations Cup. Nigeria are the defending champions winning the trophy in 2022.

Nigeria are in Group B with Cote d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso while Grouop A consists of Ghana, Togo, Niger and Benin Republic.
