Football: Dozens Killed As Rival Fans Clash In Guinea

According to reports, at least 100 people lost their lives in violent clashes between rival fans during a football match in N'zerekore, Guinea, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

This tragic event, which occurred at the end of a game, resulted in hundreds of fatalities. Medical sources confirmed that "there are around 100 dead", with the region's hospital and morgue completely full.

According to eyewitnesses: "Bodies are lined up as far as the eye can see, with many more scattered throughout the corridors." 

It was gathered that from a local publication that "chaos quickly ensued, turning what was supposed to be a sporting event into a scene of total disorder. 

"The images that circulated show numerous bodies and injured people, although there is still no official official count of the victims. 

"Clashes broke out in the final minutes of the game, when tension between young fans and police escalated to the point of no return."
