Foreign Pros To Replace Unfit Players Before U20 AFCON Finals - Flying Eagles Head Coach

Flying Eagles Head Coach, Aliyu Zubairu has confirmed that many foreign based players will be invited to replace unfit players camp ahead of their final camping resumption, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The El-Kanemi Warriors Coach made this known at the post match reaction after beating Cote D'Ivoire 2-0 in the first leg of the two international friendly games played on Wednesday.
He said, "We are in Cote D'Ivoire to know the fitness level our players are. This will help us to know if there's any player who could not meet up with the standard we are looking for, so that such player can be replaced.
"We will continue to do this until we get the balance team for the Flying Eagles. We are expecting a lot of players particularly those players who took their career abroad that are eligible. We are expecting reasonable number of them to join us as soon as we go back to Nigeria. We are planning to go on a week brae and from there we regroup again and start inviting the foreign based players to join the team
"We are still going to approach Friday's match with utmost seriousness because we adopted a tactics that we see if it's going to work during the AFCON finals and on Friday we are going to adopt a different tactic. So that we will have plan A and B just in case Plan A fail us a team, then we shift to plan B. We want to test run the tactical approach of Plan B and see how it's going to work." He concluded.
Both teams (Nigeria and Cote D'Ivoire) will square up against each other on Friday in the return leg of the friendlies. The hosts, Ivory Coast are in group A of the biennial age grade competition, alongside DR Congo, Ghana, Tanzania and UNIFFAC second bearer, while Flying Eagles will slug it out with Egypt, Morocco and South Africa in group B.
