Nottingham Forest intends to keep Super Eagles ace Taiwo Awoniyi, according to information provided by Graeme Bailey to Nottingham Forest News.

BSNSporta.com.ng also sourced that the Nigerian is valued by the club. The Reds currently have a standout player in Chris Wood, who scored his 13th goal of the season on Tuesday night against Liverpool, which has left Awoniyi on the sidelines.

Unfortunately, this season has been challenging for the striker, as he has dealt with injuries and faced stiff competition for a starting spot due to Wood's impressive performance.

Bailey reports that Forest does not plan to sell Awoniyi this month and is focused on retaining him.

He suggests that any speculation regarding a move to West Ham is unfounded at this stage.

While Awoniyi may be the subject of rumours regarding a transfer, Nottingham Forest is actively identifying new targets as well.

Some of these speculations may lack credibility, given the nature of the media during this time of year, while others are proving to be quite interesting.
