Former Akwa United left back, Ajako James who joined FUS Rabat FC of Morocco on a 3-year deal was delighted to make the Team of The Week in the Morrocan Division One on his debut.

The 20-year-old Ajako was on for 90 minutes as his team FUS Rabat FC defeated Wydad Casablanca football club by 0- 2.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with BSN Sports from his base in Morocco, Ajako said he didn't see himself making the player of the week on his debut. " I am delighted to have been in the player of the week on my debut and playing against an ancient and one of the best indigenous teams in Africa Wydad Casablanca for 90 minutes. The atmosphere was terrifying. I haven't seen such a crowd before and the joy of it is that my team won away from home by 0-2."

" I never see it coming especially on my first game in the Morrocan league. I am very happy I must say". He concluded.

Arguably James Ajako was one of the best defenders in the Nigeria professional league last season which is why Fus Rabat FC noticed and snapped up the 20 years old Lagos born from Akwa United.

FUS Rabat FC was third in the log last season and are currently playing in the CAF confederation cup this season.
