Former Flamingoes Assistant Joins Ahudiyannem Queens

Ahudiyannem Queens FC have announced the appointment of Adanna Nwaneri as the club’s new Head Coach, signaling the start of a new chapter for the side, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nwaneri arrives with considerable experience in Nigerian women’s football. She previously served as Head Coach and Technical Adviser at Abia Angels FC from July 2024 and again in 2025, overseeing team development and competitive strategy.

She has also worked with Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Nigeria women's national under-17 football team, where she contributed to player development and tactical planning at international level. In addition, Nwaneri was part of the technical crew at Heartland Queens FC, further strengthening her résumé within the domestic game.

Club officials expressed confidence in her leadership, highlighting her technical expertise, experience and ambition as key assets. Management, players and supporters have welcomed the appointment and are optimistic that her arrival will inject renewed energy into the squad.

As the season progresses, Ahudiyannem Queens say they remain focused and united, with the goal of achieving stronger performances and sustained success under their new head coach.
