Former Flying Eagles Coach Charges Eagles To Remain Focused On World Cup Ticket

Former Flying Eagles assistant coach, Abimbola Samuel, has charged Super Eagles players to remain focused on picking the 2022 FIFA World Cup ticket.
Super Eagles in the first leg of the FIFA World Cup playoff on Friday night held the Black Stars of Ghana to a goalless draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi with the return leg holding at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja next Tuesday.
Speaking exclusively with BSN Sports, the former Sunshine Stars Coach said, "the Super Eagles must not take the match against Ghana for granted. All mercenaries should be put to work. All the players that will be selected for the match must be able to work that he deserves it on the pitch. We should not look down and allow the performance of Ghana at AFCON and the 0-0 draw to deceive us. Everybody want to be at the World Cup because the venue of this year's World Cup is a special place to visit.
Speaking on the absence of Leceister City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, he said, "Well, I believe as a National team, they should have replacement for Ndidi. He's one of the important player for the team but I believe there should be plan B to cover up his absence.
The overrall winners in the doubleheader matches will fly African flag at the World Cup slated for November, 2022.
