Former Flying Eagles Star Score His First Champions League Goal Against Porto

It was a mixed feeling for the former Flying Eagles midfielder, Alhassan Yussuf, whose goal counted for little in the Royal Antwerp game against FC Porto, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Belgian Jupiler League champions campaigning in the UEFA Champions League hosted the former European champions FC Porto in match day 3 of the competition on Wednesday.

After a scoreless half-hour, it was the Nigerian International who netted the opening goal in the 37th minute and earned Antwerp a first-half lead.

Evanilson restored parity for Porto in the 46th minute before Eustaudio put the visitors ahead in the 54th minute.

The Brazilian international Evanilson completed his brace in the 69th minute and also completed his hat trick in the 84th minute as the game ended 1-4 in favour of the Portuguese side.
