Former Flying Eagles striker Join Slovenia Top-Flight Team

Slovenian top division team NK Celje has announced the engagement of former Nigeria's Flying Eagles striker Chukwubuikem Ikuemesi, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

Ikuemesi was part of the Flying Eagles that participated in the 2020 WAFU B competition and despite the team's poor outing, the youngster was able to show his talent in front of goal.

The management of Celje announced the capture from the Slovenian Second Division team NK Krsko on a 3- year deal.

" Chukwubuikem Ikuemesi, welcome to Celje.

"The 195-centimetre tall striker is moving to the princely city from NK Krsko and he signed a 3-year contract with the club," the statement from the club read.
