Former Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) star Sunday Adetunji has added another silverware to his career after helping Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman secure the honorary Rwanda league title, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Al Hilal were crowned champions of the special competition held in Rwanda, where Sudanese clubs participated due to the ongoing situation in their home country.

Following their success in Rwanda, the Omdurman-based side returned to Sudan to take part in a mini-tournament designed to determine the country's representatives for next season's CAF inter-club competitions.

Al Hilal produced a flawless performance throughout the competition, winning all seven matches they played.

The Sudanese champions scored 16 goals and conceded just once during their impressive unbeaten run.

The dominant display ensured that Al Hilal once again emerged champions, sealing qualification to represent Sudan in the CAF inter-club competitions next season.

Adetunji, who previously starred in the NPFL before moving abroad, played his part in Al Hilal's successful campaign as the club continues to assert its dominance in Sudanese football.
