Former NPFL Striker Nominated For Player Of The Month In Rwanda

Following his outstanding performance in December 2023, the former Nigeria Premier Football League striker Victor Mbaoma has been nominated for the Player of the Month award in Rwanda, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Mbaoma joined APR FC last summer after returning to the country from Algeria and he has been outstanding for the Rwandan side.

Mbaoma banged in 4 goals in four games in December 2023 for APR. 

He drew blank in the goalless draw with Gasogi and the 1-1 draw with Kiyovu but netted a brace in APR’s 4-1 win over Gorilla on December 8 and another brace inthe club’s 3-1 victory over Amagaju at Huye on December 11 respectively.

Mbaoma is in contention alongside teammate Muhadjiri Hakizimana Heritier, Luvumbu of Rayon Sports and Abedi Bigirimana also of Police FC for the prestigious award which will be presented on January 16.
