Former NPFL Top Scorer Retires From Active Football

Former Akwa United striker, Akarandut Orok, has announced his retirement from professional football, BSNSports.com.ng reports
Orok is one of the household names in the Nigeria Professional Football League having won the top scorer award in the 2008/2009 season with 17 goals.
The announcement came on Sunday at the age of 35.
Orok has played in the Tunisian Ligue One, United Arab Emirates and also in Bahrain.
He has been given an appointment as one of the backroom staff of Akwa United ahead of the new season.
