A United States university, Detroit Country Day School has named former Nigerian International, Shane Lawal as Assistant Coach of the institution's boys’ basketball team, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Lawal, who represented Nigeria at the 2016 Olympics and helped D’Tigers win their first-ever AfroBasket title in 2015, now brings his wealth of experience to the Country Day Yellowjackets program. 

From playing across Europe to dominating the international stage, Shane’s journey is nothing short of inspiring.

He’s now set to help shape young talents and elevate the next generation at the private independent, co-educational and non-denominational school.
