Former Super Eagles Coach Heaps Praises On Dessers

After completing his move to the Scottish Premier League side Glasgow Rangers, former Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has tagged Super Eagles forward Cyril Dessers as a modern-day striker, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 28-year-old Nigeria international joined the Gers last week from the relegated Italian side US Cremonese and Rohr who is now the coach of the Benin Republic national team has showered an encomium on him.

 â€œCyriel Dessers is an all-round striker and a player who is perfect for the modern game.

"He is very mobile, possesses great speed, and is strong and powerful in the air. Not only is he comfortable on the ball, but he can also score goals with both feet. 

Furthermore, he demonstrates great discipline on and off the pitch", he told Daily Record.

Dessers made his Super Eagles debut under Rohr in October 2020 against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in an international friendly game.
