Former Super Eagles Striker Mike Eneramo Dies At 40

Nigeria has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of former Super Eagles striker Mike Eneramo, who reportedly slumped and died at the age of 40, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Eneramo, widely regarded for his physical presence and attacking prowess, began his professional career with Lobi Stars in 2004 before securing a move to Tunisia, where he rose to prominence with Espérance Sportive de Tunis.
During his time with the Tunisian giants, the striker enjoyed a prolific spell, scoring 51 goals in 86 appearances and establishing himself as a fan favourite due to his strength and clinical finishing in front of goal.
The journeyman forward also featured for clubs across several countries, including stints in Turkey, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia, carving out a solid career on the international club circuit.
At the international level, Eneramo earned 10 caps for the Nigeria national football team, scoring three goals during his time with the senior national team.
His sudden passing represents a significant loss to Nigerian football, with tributes expected to pour in from former teammates, fans, and stakeholders who remember him for his commanding presence and eye for goal.
