The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take part in a four-nation international friendly tournament scheduled to hold in the Turkish city of Antalya, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Jordan Football Association confirmed that the competition, initially planned to be staged in Jordan, has been moved to Turkey due to the current political situation in the Middle East.
In a statement released by the federation, the decision was taken to ensure smooth organisation of the matches and ease of movement for participating teams and supporters.
“The Jordanian Football Association has decided to move the matches of the four-team international friendly tournament, scheduled for March 2026, to be held in the Turkish city of Antalya, due to the current situation in the region and the limited movement of people,” the statement read.
The mini-tournament will feature Jordan’s national team alongside Nigeria, Iran national football team and Costa Rica national football team.
The matches are expected to serve as part of preparations for the participating countries ahead of their upcoming international assignments later in the year.
