Four Teams Pick Promotion Ticket To NWFL Premiership

Four teams have sealed their promotion to the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership for the 2025/2026 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The four teams including; Imo Striker Queens join Sunshine Queens, Castmog Ladies, and Ahudiyannem Queens booked promotion to the NWFL Premiership from the Abiriba and Umuahia centres.

Imo Strikers Queens sealed its topflight debut on Friday after a commanding 2-0 victory over Ghetto Tiger Queens in Abiriba, Abia State. Goals from Anoke James and Chiamaka Damian ensured that Imo Striker Queens confirmed their promotion with a game to spare in the NWFL Championship playoff.

Castmog Ladies and Ahudiyannem Queens, had joined Sunshine Queens in securing promotion to the NWFL Premiership after finishing top of their respective groups on Wednesday.
