Frankfurt offers €9 Million for Durosinmi

Nigerian forward, Rafiu Durosinmi is poised to join Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in January, with Czech Republic club Viktoria Plzen agreeing to sell him for a reported €9 million fee.

This move is set to make Durosinmi the joint-fourth most expensive signing in Frankfurt’s history.

Having impressed at Viktoria Plzen, the 20-year-old forward will undergo a medical next week, and the transfer is expected to be finalized when the January transfer window opens.

Durosinmi’s performances have garnered attention, recording six goals and six assists in just 11 games before sustaining an injury.

If the deal goes through, Rafiu Durosinmi will follow in the footsteps of Nigerian football legend Austin Okocha, becoming the second Nigerian to play for Eintracht Frankfurt.
