French Ligue: Bordeaux Manager Praises Josh Maja

The manager of Girondin Bordeaux David Guion has heaped praises on inform Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Josh Maja, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Maja spent last season on loan in the English Championship with Stoke City and he almost returned to England to join Birmingham until he changed his mind on the final day of the summer transfer.

Since the start of the French Ligue 2 season, Maja has been a revelation for Bordeaux and his six goals remained the reasons they are on top of the table.

"We had to get him back into shape physically when he arrived, but he quickly showed his importance to the team In my memory, I have rarely seen a striker so clinical in front of goal. 

" His release is exceptional. It’s a very, very high level. He’s also very intelligent and knows where he wants to go. You don’t have to bullshit him.
