French Ligue: Moffi Nets 5th Goal Of The Season, As Lorient End Lyon's Unbeaten Run

Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi was the hero on Wednesday evening in the French Ligue as FC Lorient ended Olympique Lyon's unbeaten run, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Since the start of the 2022/2023 season of the league, Lyon has put up an amazing performance and scored four goals in their last league game.

They played away to FC Lorient on Wednesday and it ended in a defeat for them as Moffi ran at their defence to secure a 3-1 win for the host.

Le Fee opened the scoring in the 6th minute but former Arsenal striker Alexander Lacazette brought Lyon level in the 28th minute.

Moffi restored Lorient's lead in the 33rd minute and ensured that they were in the driving seat going into the halftime break.

Qattara made it 3-1 for the host in the 49th minute and Moffi almost scored the 4th goal before he was subbed off in the 92nd minute.

Moffi has now scored five goals in six games this season in French Ligue One.
