French Ligue Two side Girondin Bordeaux continue their impressive performance as they recorded another win Monday evening against Stade Lavallois, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team was relegated last season from the elite division owing to poor performance and financial issues that ravaged the team.

They started life in the second tier on a sound note, with Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Josh Maja shouldering the responsibility of the team.

He lived up to expectations again on Monday night as he bagged his 7th goal of the season, after he opened the scoring for the team in the 8th minute before Magiotti levelled the game in the 56th minute.

Elvis sealed the win in the 69th minute and handed Bordeaux a 1-2 win.
