French Ligue 2 side Girondin Bordeaux go top of the table on Saturday after their 2-1 win over Dijon FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Josh Maja was on song again with his superlative performance.

He opened the scoring in the 8th minute via a penalty after a Dijon defender committed a foul on him.

Le Bihan equalized for the away side in the 71st minute before Davitashvili netted the winning goal in the 87th minute and ensured a maximum point.

The win took them to the top of the table with 17 points from 9 games.
