French Ligue One: Flying Eagles Star Makes Scoring Debut For Montpellier

Newly acquired striker Adams Akor made all the headlines in the French Ligue One on Sunday afternoon in Montpellier's home draw against Le Havre, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Flying Eagles forward joined the French side a few days ago from the Norwegian club Lillestrom and he was able to set a record in the league.

Le Havre netted the opening goal in the 5th minute to silence the home crowd but the Nigerian International continued to pose a threat to the backline of the away team.

Akor netted the equalizer in the 58th minute before putting Montpellier ahead two minutes later to the surprise of the home crowd.

He was subbed off in the 77th minute and was applauded by the home fans and got a huge hug from the team manager.

Le Havre netted a late goal in the 90th minute as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
