French Ligue Two Side AS Nancy Sign Nigerian Youngster

French Ligue Two outfit AS Nancy Lorraine have announced the signing of Nigerian youngster Victor Orakpo from OGC Nice, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 20-year-old striker joins the former Ligue One side on loan from Nice until the end of the season, as he continues his development in French football. Confirming the deal, the club wrote: "Victor Orakpo is now a Nancy player! The 20-year-old striker joins AS Nancy Lorraine on loan from OGC Nice until the end of the season. Welcome to Nancy, Victor!" Orakpo, who is regarded as one of Nigeria’s promising young attacking talents, will be hoping to gain regular playing time and make a strong impression in Ligue Two as AS Nancy push for a successful campaign.
