Friendly Match: Algeria Hold Super Eagles

Super Eagles on Friday in a test match against the Algeria local side in Constantine were held to a 2-2 draw, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Nigeria team under Jose Peseiro has been training in Algeria ahead of the international friendly against the Desert Foxes.

After a goalless 30inutes J.S Kabiyle striker Karim Aribi opened the scoring in the 33rd minute and ended the half in favour of the hosts.

The introduction of the in-form Everton FC midfielder Alex Iwobi and Cremonese striker Cyril Dessers in the second half changed the game for Nigeria.

Both players scored to put the Super Eagles 1-2 before Aymen Mahious leveled the game to end the game 2-2.

Next for the Super Eagles is international match against Desert Foxes in Oran on Tuesday.
