Nigeria international Alex Iwobi marked his Man of the Match performance in Fulham’s 1-1 Premier League draw against Manchester United with a taste of home, celebrating by enjoying a traditional Nigerian delicacy, semo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Eagles midfielder delivered the decisive moment at Craven Cottage on Sunday, providing the assist for Emile Smith Rowe’s debut equaliser that earned Marco Silva’s side a valuable point and ended United’s long winning run at the ground.

Iwobi’s pinpoint cross in the 72nd minute capped an industrious display in midfield, earning him the official Man of the Match award. Off the pitch, he shared his post-match celebration in lighthearted fashion, tucking into semo, a popular Nigerian staple made from semolina flour, often eaten with soup.
