Sampson Adedeji

Fulham manager Marco Silva has confirmed that Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze will not be available for their Premier League clash against Newcastle United this weekend, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Chukwueze, who missed last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, remains sidelined alongside Antonee Robinson and Rodrigo Muniz, while Joachim Andersen and Harry Wilson have now joined the injury list.

Speaking ahead of the trip to St James’ Park, Silva gave an update on his squad’s fitness:

“Some good news, or fresh news. Others is not so good, unfortunately for us,” the Portuguese tactician said.

“Starting from the back, Kenny was already involved in the last game not 100 per cent, but he was already on the bench".

"He has had a good week and will be in contention for the game.

Joachim Andersen, as we expected, has a muscle injury. It’s not so serious, but he will be out of the Newcastle match. Antonee Robinson neither, as well. Chukwueze still out, Rodrigo out.”

Chukwueze has been recovering from a calf injury sustained while on international duty with Nigeria during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
