Fulham Boss Praises Calvin Bassey

Following his scintillating performance against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night, the manager of the English Premier League club Fulham FC Marcos Silva has heaped praises on the Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Bassey joined the Cottagers this summer from the Dutch Eredivisie club Ajax Amsterdam and he has been an integral part of the team since his arrival.

He put up a superb display against Nottingham Forest and effort at the back nullified all the attacking threat of the Forest.

" Bassey played on the left-hand side, which is usually Timâ€™s role, and it was nice to see him perform as well", he said.

Before moving to the Dutch League, Bassey played for Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish Premier League.
