Future Eagles Defender Hails NFF, Coach Ilerika

Future Eagles defender Taiwo Sogelola has hailed the Nigeria Football Federation under President Ibrahim Gusau for giving him and his teammates the necessary exposure, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The M&N FC defender was among the players that represented the country in the just concluded U16 Dream Cup tournament in Japan.

Taiwo played in all the games for Nigeria and despite the defeat, he was able to distinguish himself with amazing performance.

He further praised the team's technical crew led by Coach Ilerika for their belief and trust they had in him.

" I want to use the opportunity to appreciate NFF for this rare and wonderful opportunity they gave to us to represent the country in Japan.

Though we lost all the games it wasn't about the result alone but the exposure and the experience are what matter most at this juncture.

I also thanked my Coach Ilerika for the confidence he instilled in me and also for the encouragement at all times", he stated.
