Oghenekaro Peter Etebo looks set to seal a move to Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray from Stoke City, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Nigerian once had a loan spell with the Istanbul giants when he joined in the 2020/21 season. Etebor played 29 times for Gala as they finished in second place, missing out on the title to Besiktas on goal difference.
According to TurkishFootballNews is tweet it posted "Galatasaray are interested to transfer Peter Etebo."
Meanwhile Etebo who joined the Potters for €7.2million from Feirense on a five-year-deal, is set to say his goodbye to the club.
At the weekend, Stoke City manager Michael O’Neill dropped Oghenekaro Etebo from his 25-man squad for the 2022/2023 season.
According to O’Neill, the player is keen on a move away from the Potters. He stated this ahead of Stoke’s first home fixture.
Recall the Nigerian who joined Watford on a season-long loan deal didn't show his potential as he had a tough season with the Hornets.
Etebo was out for up to five months after picking up a torn quad muscle injury against Newcastle.
