Galatasaray Sends Invitation To Napoli Director For Osimhen Talks

The Nigeria international striker, Victor Osimhen, has been sensational since moving to Turkish club Galatasaray on loan during the summer, reports BSNSports.com.ng Osimhen has scored four goals in five Super Lig games for the Yellow-Reds, but his future remains uncertain ahead of the January transfer window.

It will be recalled that Galatasaray secured a loan deal for the 25-year-old and agreed to pay him a salary of 6m Euros per season.

He joined from Napoli on a season-long loan, but the club can renew the contract until 30th June 2027.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that Galatasaray are making a desperate effort to sign the Nigerian International striker on a permanent deal but will not pay more than 50 Million Euros.

Osimhen's contract with Napoli has a 75 Million Euro release clause, but according to Turkish media, Galatasaray cannot afford to offer as much to sign the Napoli striker.

It is now confirmed that both club's are on the negotiation table, with the player"s future uncertain.

As it stands now, it has been confirmed that Napoli" 's Sporting Director, Giovanni Manna, has been invited to Istanbul for negotiation by Galatasaray. Manna is expected to be in Istanbul on Thursday, 7th November 2024, as the club intensifies efforts to complete the signing.

Several other clubs have continued to monitor the player" 's situation, as he remains on the radar of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

The Galatasaray President has urged the player to stay at the club until the end of the season, suggesting they could celebrate a potential Turkish league title together.

Osimhen has also hinted at staying back with Galatasaray, expressing his interest to remain until the present Turkish Super Lig season ends.
