Galatasary Close Tab On Unsettled Super Eagles star Onyekuru

Super Eagles star Henry Onyekuru is set to join Galatasaray on a loan deal from Greek Champions Olympiakos this summer, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Onyekuru left Monaco for Olympiakos in a €4.5million transfer last summer, but it turned out to be a wrong move for the 24-year-old as despite winning the league, he struggled to make an impact for the Legends.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are looking to secure his services on loan this summer.

However, Onyekuru has his eyes set on returning to Galatasaray, where he has previously spent three different loan.

Galatasaray have initiated contact with Olympiacos though there is no official offer yet.

If the deal works out, it would be Onyekuru’s third stint at the club, returning after he left Istanbul last January

The Nigerian international, who was a fan favourite during previous stint with the Turkish club, grabbed 22 goals and 12 assists in 71 matches with the yellow-reds, winning the Super Lig and Turkish Cup double in 2019.
