Gasperini: Lookman Was In Best Shape Against Napoli

The manager of the Italian Serie A side Atalanta Gian Piero Gasperini has heaped praises on Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Atalanta suffered a 1-2 home defeat to champion Napoli on Saturday evening and it was Lookman who netted the only goal for the host.

Kvick put Napoli ahead in the 44th minute but the Nigerian international equalized in the 53rd minute of the game while Elmas netted the winning goal for the away side.

"Lookman was in the best shape, I liked the way he played", the coach said.

Meanwhile, after spending over a month out due to injury Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen made a return for Napoli.

He was introduced into the game in the 68th minute of the encounter.
