Gateway Games 2024: MOC, LOC Meet To Intensify Preparations

The opening ceremony of the 2024 National Sports Festival tagged Gateway Games 2024 is 365 days away as the Main Organizing Committee, MOC, and Local Organizing Committee, LOC, met in Ogun State, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Festival which is expected to begin on November, 27, 2024 in the Gateway state, is the 22nd National Sports Festival.

The MOC team led by Dr. Mrs. Thecla Opara, had a meeting with the LOC which is headed by Chief Bukola Olopade to intensify preparations ahead of the biggest sporting festival in the country. 

Recall that Nigeria's Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, recently inaugurated the MOC of the 22nd National Sports Festival in Abuja.

The MOC of the National Sports Festival comprises Ismaila Abubakar, Permanent Secretary of Sports Development, as Chairman and Bukola Olapade (Chairman LOC) as Vice Chairman.

Other members of the committee are Dr. Paul Onyeudo, Olufehinti Olusegun, Mohammed Manga, Gregory Zi, Ms. Fadeke Fadeyibi, Abolore Alanamu, Patrick Okeke, Mrs. Amaka Ashiofu, Prof. Olawale Moronkola, Habu Gumel, Sunday Odebode, Emmanuel Utobo, Bamiduro Olumide, and Brendan Ndifon.
