Gençlerbirliği, Henry Onyekuru Part Ways By Mutual Consent

Turkish club Gençlerbirliği S.K. and Nigerian winger Henry Onyekuru have mutually agreed to terminate the player's contract after the club disclosed its inability to meet his wage demands for the new season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The decision brings an end to Onyekuru's spell with the club, with both parties reaching an amicable agreement to part ways.

Despite the contract termination, Gençlerbirliği will pay Onyekuru a portion of the remaining value of his contract as part of the settlement reached between both sides.

The former Super Eagles forward is now a free agent and is expected to begin searching for a new club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
