German Bundesliga: Boniface Up For Player Of The Month Award

The profile of Nigeria'Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface continues to soar due to his superb performances week-in-week out, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Boniface joined Leverkusen this summer and he has been splendid in the colour of the club since his arrival.

He won the Player of the Month for August beating much-established players like England Three Lions skipper Harry Kane.

The club organiser on Monday released the list of the rookie player for the month of September and Boniface's name is prominently featured.

He was nominated alongside Xavi Simon of RB Leipzig and Maximilian Beier of Herta Berlin.

Boniface will hope to retain the award as he is still the current holder of the award.
