Ghana vs Nigeria: We’re ready for Black Stars – Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina assures Nigerians

Nigeria defender, Ola Aina, has assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles are ready to face the Black Stars of Ghana when both teams meet in a 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff on Friday in Kumasi, BSNSports.com.ng reports.


Aina said that the Super Eagles would do everything possible to beat Ghana and qualify Nigeria for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.


The Torino defender spoke to BSNSports.com.ng after Super Eagles’ first training session in Abuja on Wednesday morning.


“We are ready, the team is ready, we are preparing slowly, but surely when the game come we will be victorious against Black Stars of Ghana.”


 “We are ready for this encounter. The players called up are ready to give their all, but the game would not be easy of course, no team is easy in Africa.”


“Every matches brings in lot of threats, and Ghana been a massive nation, but we will not take the game lightly.” We focus more above the hide and seek of the Black Stars of Ghana camping in Kumasi, and when it comes to a game it will be 11 vs 11.”


“The Ghanaians are not underdogs, but their performance in AFCON was not edify well with the calibre of stars in their squad, but they are a massive footballing nation, and the fact that the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana is so big.”
